Destiny Splash

The neighborhood is quiet, very nice, and still close to the beach. The heated pool was awesome. Didn’t have any issues with anything, lots of room for everyone. Huge pantry. The closet/baby room attached to the master bedroom was awesome and definitely utilized as we have a baby. The golf cart added to the home was one of the main reasons we chose this house, a great perk!!!

House was very well stocked with beach items including coolers, chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. The house is beautiful and very conveniently located near the hwy for easy access out of the community.

This space is great for accommodating a large family with children! I love the space bc we were all on the same level but had enough room! All the amenities needed to have a day at the beach or a day by the covered heated pool at the home!

Excellent stay for our large family gathering. The host responded quickly. The house was spotless. We appreciated all of the amenities included such as the well stocked kitchen, beach supplies, and golf cart. It was so easy just to load up and go to the beach or the community pool. Very nice stay! Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of comfy seating in the home.

House was very clean and very spacious! HOA is very ruthless and will give you a ticket for just about anything they don’t like. 1/4 of my back tire was touching the grass and got a $50 ticket so just be careful.

We had 3 families stay here for spring break. We did have an issue with some mold in one of the showers. Emailed maintenance late in the evening, first thing the next morning, they were knocking on the door ready to clean it. They were great about getting it taken care of quickly. This didn't bother us too much but it may for someone else. We never touched the thermostat, it stayed at 70 the entire time, but house never got cool, always stayed between 72-76 consistently. Like I said, it didn't bother us, so we never called maintenance. Overall, the house was excellent and we had a wonderful time. Would absolutely go back there again.

We didn't want to leave, it felt like home. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and sand toys. The nearest restaurant, Pepito's was the best Mexican food I've ever had. We kids enjoyed taking the golf cart out and I liked not having sand get in our car after the beach. The house is very clean and spacious. I am looking at booking it again for next year, although a year seems too long!

Amazing and very clean house! Garage was filled with more than enough chairs, beach toys, and ice chests. Golf cart was amazing and really nice to have on trips to the beach and around Destin. Only downfalls are it being a pretty far walk to the beach, but the golf cart makes up for that, and the back door child proof alarms going off every time the door is opened. Overall amazing stay and amazing house. Would definitely rent again!

This was actually my second time renting this property through Destin Palms, so that should let you know this is a great place to stay. My only issue was the pool not being heated when we arrived. Just like the previous year, I had to call and ask that the heater be cut on, which means we lost that first evening of swimming. However, the maintenance crew was really professional and they came promptly that next morning and resolved the issue. Overall, it was an excellent time and if/when I return to Destin, FL, I will be booking this property again.

Very cozy and the neighborhood felt very safe with nice amenities to enjoy with the family, such as tennis, basketball, community pool. It was close to everything. Golf cart was a HUGE plus because we could use it to take us to places in close proximity on the scenic route of Hwy 98. The only thing I would’ve appreciated more was if the extra costs for things could have been more clear. I had the impression that the pool heater was complimentary but it was an extra $200+ and using the LiveWell credit cannot be applied to renting a golf cart unless the stay is a minimum of 7 days. So other than those clarifications, I really enjoyed my stay with Destin Splash.

The house was very clean upon arrival and well maintained.The golf cart was a great addition and enjoyed trips to the beach. I would recommend having the pool heated depending on when you are there. It is covered but not enclosed, so cooler evening temperatures cool it down. The community pool, tennis courts and playground were also a hit with our family. Great location. With Covid we actually did not eat out at any restaurants, we enjoyed cooking and being socially distant from crowds. We were there the third week of October, ocean water was warm enough to be able to enjoy it. Weather was low to mid 80's. Not crowded beaches, it was perfect.

The pool outside in the enclosed patio area definitely makes the house stay beachy feeling. It’s a short (2-3 minute) golf cart ride to beach access and we had fun riding around on it during our trip!

This beautiful house was decorated so tastefully and more important, it was immaculate. The neighborhood is quiet and just a golf cart ride away from the beach. They have everything you might need or want to take to the beach. We can’t wait to make plans to stay here again. And maybe even bring our 6 kids and their spouses because it has that much room.
