Majestic Sun 701B

We have stayed at the Majestic Sun for 9 years and in this particular unit twice. The location could not be better. This unit is great for our family and the size is perfect. I would definitely stay here again. A few suggestions that we would make are:
1. The range takes forever to heat up and bake things~frozen pizzas specifically.
2. The dishwasher is not the best.
3.The couch is not very comfortable.
4. There is no pizza cutter.

Overall these things are very minor (except the range-we had the same issues with it last year) but thought they were worth mentioning.
I would highly recommend the Majestic Sun and this particular unit.

This rental was excellent for my family of 6. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the view of the beach while sitting outside on the balcony in the morning drinking my coffee and in the evenings enjoying a cold drink. The beach was beautiful as always.

Easy to find location, great parking options & very clean well kept property! Loved they supplied the basics until we could purchase some for our own. The balcony ocean view was stunning, rooms were very tidy & had everything needed for an extended stay- only complaint is not having comforters/blankets & the master bed could be more comfortable :/. They provided sheets and very thin blankets but after being sun burnt, we needed something heavier. Overall a wonderful stay and we plan to return in October!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The technology worked quite well so that we could get work done with minimal effort. Beach access was so incredibly easy. We were welcomed wholeheartedly into the nightly pickleball games. The only negative: we love to cook after a day on the beach and then go out after. We had to go out for dinner every night because the kitchen just was not adequate for cooking a meal for our group. Again, not a huge thing since most people want to go out, but it will probably lead us to rent a different condo simply because we like to cook.

Overall, we enjoyed staying in this condo! There are several areas with chips and nicks taken out of baseboards and the master bathroom cabinet but that didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay. The host was so pleasant to deal with.

Location was great but the condo’s oven, toaster and coffee pot did not work properly. They also could use some more rugs on the floors to cut down on the slippery floors and help with the sand. The condo is not updated and couch was not very comfortable however we loved our stay and access to everything was great

Beautiful view! Short walk to sand! Beds were comfy! The whales tale is fun and has good fish tacos....easy walk. Bad Ass coffee was another local favorite. The condo was very clean. It’s a little dated in the bathrooms and short on nice cooking utensils. (Baking sheets, sauce pans).... we like to cook sometimes. The pools are nice but super cold in may. The communication from the property management was missing. Typically we receive updates to welcome including the address and door codes but I had to call for those. No biggie. Overall it’s an island paradise experience.

The property was in fantastic shape- clean, comfortable and we especially enjoyed the view from the balcony and the kids loved the huge TV with Netflix. There was plenty of space for our group of seven. We really appreciated having three bathrooms. We spent much of our time on the beach but also adventured to Crab Island for the first time and rented a pontoon. The Whale's Tale is within walking distance and had great food with an awesome view. We also loved Louis Louis- best food we've had in Destin. However, we can't come to Destin without visiting Landsharks (pizza and wings). We caught a movie at Destin Commons and enjoyed shopping at Silver Sands Outlet (which is so close).

All the furniture is high quality and added to the comfort of our stay. Seriously, they spared no expense and every area was accounted for. Another aspect we enjoyed about the condo we're the colorful walls that matched the blue skies we enjoyed all week long! Next, having 3 beds and 3 baths took care of us. We never felt crowded and 3 baths made getting ready for our day or evening super easy. Also, if you stay in for eating, all the dishes, cutlery, and cooking ware needed are included which made life easy. Last but not least, (most important actually) the viewwww!! The view was worth the price of admission. I'd stay for the view alone but everything else mentioned went a long way in making our stay that much more enjoyable! We were very fortunate to find this place!

Initially, I was a little worried we might be bothered by the street noise but it wasn't a problem. The roar of the ocean muffled out the noise. At night the street was very quiet and we could sleep with the sliding glass door open to hear the ocean. The condo was very comfy and clean. Only suggestion would be a bistro table for balcony. It would of been nice to of been able to eat a meal on the balcony. Only plastic chairs with small side tables to sit our drinks on were provided. We had a great time at Miramar Beach. Beaches were beautiful! We would recommend the SeaBlaster boat ride. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

The TV in the living area is huge and perfect for a family movie. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cookie sheets, etc. The unit includes nice beach chairs that are a pleasure to relax in on the beach. The view is gorgeous and Majestic Sun is in a great location, with beautiful pool amenities. Super close to the outlet mall and tons of great restaurants. Key-less entry made coming and going from the unit a breeze. We had a wonderful week in 701B and highly recommend.
