Beach Daze

Awesome house. Great gated community. Quick walk to the beach and pool. Close to the crab trap restaurant. Absolutely loved the private beach. This is huge to me. The public beaches are always so full and we didn’t have to worry about this with our little kids. It was never busy and we rented the umbrella and chairs so we always had a place to setup at the beach. House was kept at a great temperature so we never got hot in the house. Clean house with lots of room. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, etc. we used the elevator when we checked in to bring all our items to the second and third floors. We used it when we left to load up our vehicles. This worked great. Check in was easy. We received our gate code, house code, wifi information, welcome notes and details about our stay shortly after 4 on checkin day. Great experience. This is the second time we’ve stayed in this gated community - Destiny by the seas. And we will be back.

The house and neighborhood was really convenient. Close to the community pool and close walk to the beach. Bedrooms, etc. are as pictured and kitchen was well stocked. You do have to be careful about parking - only 3 cars can fit at the property (one in garage and only two are allowed in driveway). There is excess parking in the neighborhood, but less than 10 spots total. We had a 4th car (the house fits 15 people, we had less than that but hard to all get there with our stuff in only 3 cars!) so it was an issue figuring out where to go. The pool was closed for the first few days of our trip and we couldn't get an explanation or anyone at the property to tell us why. Not the property manager or owners faulty, but obviously a little disappointing with kids who want to swim in the pool. The management company was responsive, but the office and guards at Destiny by the Sea were not helpful. We still had a great trip overall though!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great vacation for multiple families. Had 3 generations, 8 adults, and 6 kids under the age of 7. Plenty of room and bedrooms for all. Great location to beautiful private beach. Loved this place!!

We had an awesome time. The staff at Glass Casa are very professional in their job and that is a rarity these days. We had a lot of people in our group who wanted to pay separately, and they let us. Bonus! The house we rented is called Beach Daze was amazing. We all completed how nice it is and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom rocks. The only issue we had was parking. The garage holds a car, and the driveway only holds 2 for this big house. There is overflow parking, but the spaces are limited. The security guards will knock on your door at 2am if you leave your car in the street to inform you to move the car or it will be towed. However if you are thinking about renting I (we) highly suggest Beach Daze with Glass Casa.

Great house for a small family reunion. House was in great shape and had bedrooms for each couple and a bathroom for each family. Really close to the beach, loved the porch, kids had fun on the bikes, and the kitchen was well-equipped.

Great house with a great location, just steps away from the beach. Jamie had everything ready for when we got there and was very responsive when we had a question on our second day of our stay. House easily slept the 10 of us and we were able to go to bed and sleep soundly even when teenagers were still awake below us. We'd stay there again.

The house was beautiful, kitchen well stocked, furniture very comfortable. Jaime was very responsive to all questions I had and helpful with a Christmas delivery I had during our stay. The only complaint I had was with FedEx. They left perishable delivery in mail room without notifying staff that it was delivered. Jaime went to look for it when I called to let them know that it had been delivered previous day. Thanks to him our Christmas dinner was saved. Would definitely recommend this house for a large group.

The property was very clean, spacious and had plenty of room for our large family. The beach and community pool was just a short walk away for our enjoyment. The elevator was nice to have for our handicapped Mom to easily get to any floor. Overall we had an excellent vacation. The only drawback was parking. The property advertised could park 4 cars but we could only fit 3 cars on site. The overflow parking advertised amounted to only 5 spots total and was full so we had to park our extra cars off site at a business a mile away to avoid getting a fine for parking on street in front of unit.
