Our condo was great. It had everything we could possibly need. Washer and dryer work great. Everything someone might need in the kitchen. View is awesome. Location of condo is fantastic. Walking distance to a grocery store and several shops and restaurants. They are in the process of updating the entire complex with new elevators and updating paint. The pool area is wonderful, but needs more chairs around the pool. The beach is right there, steps from the pool. The outside parking for large vehicles fills up pretty fast with some smaller vehicles parking in these spots instead of parking in the garage. Overall it was an amazing time at the beach. Condo is updated and beautiful, and the complex is in a great location.

We stayed on the 12th floor and our condo was wonderful. It was clean and updated. It has everything we needed in the kitchen and a washer and dryer to make things easier on everyone. They are in the process of updating the entire property, one elevator is being rebuilt and the will rebuild the other one when that one is done. Even being down an elevator, we seldom had a long wait. The pool area is wonderful, but it could use some more chairs around the pool. The beach is so close. We have a large vehicle so we needed to park outside the garage. There are a lot of spaces, but it gets full fast because some cars and smaller vehicles that could park in the garage park in these spots. There is a large grocery store and many shops and restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The location of the condo and the condo itself are amazing.

We had the pleasure of spending a week at this beautiful condo! The host have us great instructions and covered any questions we could possibly need.
The two rooms were great for us with two kids. The entire condo was clean and well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals while there and we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony every morning to the stunning beach views.
We highly recommend this place and will book here again in the future!

We absolutely love Edgewater, I’ve stayed in various units since 2008. We loved the location, right next to the elevators which was really nice with our little one. You couldn’t hear anything from inside the unit at all! They provided everything we needed for our short trip, I knew to bring our own spices for when we cooked. The only complaint I have is that the ice maker inside the freezer does not work, it appears they’re switching it out maybe because there was 2 full size fridges in our unit so we used the one that was more so in the living room than in the kitchen. But with me breastfeeding we had to have ice for the bottles we needed to take to the beach so we just went and bought a bag of ice. Hindsight, no big deal but it was an inconvenience. Overall we would stay again, great condo!

I took my daughter and some friends for a much needed girls trip. The rooms were just as pictured on the listing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking necessities. So this made cooking family meals in the condo so easy. Make sure you bring salt, pepper, sugar, and any other spices you cook with. The pools and the baby pool was perfect for the baby. We were so thankful for the 2 complimentary beach chairs. This greatly lightened our load of stuff to carry to the beach. And, most importantly, the view from the room was amazing.

We enjoy staying at Edgewater. Although every unit has different decor, the unit layout is typically the same. Everything about 1200 was good. Clean and comfortable. Some earlier reviews mentioned dishwasher problems. The dishwasher now appears to be new. Being close to the elevator is definitely a plus and there’s no noise from the elevator in the unit at all. Even riding the elevator seems very quiet. Again, Edgewater is a great place as it is very secure and private while being located near many things. We will be staying here anytime we travel to the Destin area and would definitely consider staying in 1200 again. BTW, although fire alarms have been a problem in the past, the alarms did not go off, at all, for the week we were there, thankfully.

We so enjoyed our first trip to Florida and staying at the Majestic sun! The unit was clean and we had a most everything we needed. Whatever we didn’t have, we could just take a quick drive to the market. It was close to everything including the gorgeous beach it was on. I would recommend staying here.

Overall a great condo! Nice size for a family of 4. Everything as advertised and pictured except I believe the couches are new. Certainly not an issue! Kitchen is well stocked. No less than 4 hairdryers when we were there and a little closet with some beach items that probably come and go - floats, balls, chairs. No hangers which was odd. This unit comes with beach service during the season and that is huge! You cannot bring your own umbrella or canopy. Plus it's nice to have someone else handle it. One negative is that we found the master bedroom a bit warm at night. Not unbearable, but take note if that will bother you. There is a quiet ceiling fan that helps.

We had a wonderful in this condo, it was very clean and equipped with everything that we needed. The view was perfect, we were able to see dolphins swimming in the morning while having our coffee, it was great to be able to go to the room for lunch or just a little break. Property Management was very helpful. Clean updated interior, well equipped kitchen, and laundry room in a great location for dining and shopping. Great view from large balcony of pools and beach. The balcony is very relaxing place to enjoy your stay. Two great pools with an on site snack bar and grill for a midday snack. Right on the beach with plenty of room to bask in the sun and soak in the Gulf. Very helpful and courteous lifeguards at beach. We have stayed at Edgewater before and I would recommend Unit 1200 at Edgewater and Destin Palms for a beach getaway.

The condo had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. I loved all the beachy decorations. The beach at Edgewater is magnificent. It is a private beach and only for the guests to use. We snorkeled, boogied boarded, built sandcastles and searched for shells. In the evenings we walked the beach with flashlights and found so many little crabs. It truly was a delightful vacation for our family and to have a comfortable condo to come back to each day was a blessing! The only thing that would have been nicer, would be to have had beach service included in our rent cost. But we did fine. We brought our own beach chairs and umbrella with us and just used a wagon to take everything to and from the beach each day. All in all, we loved our stay and eagerly look forward to when we can return!!

We were slightly concerned due to the 2 negative reviews posted just a few days before our scheduled arrival, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. We traveled with our 2 young children (2 and 3 months) and grandparents and we all loved this unit! Everything has been updated and it is very nice! Loved the granite in the kitchen and bathrooms and the new appliances. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was practically brand new. I didn't realize how much we would like this location at the back of the building which seemed like a longer walk to the beach, but it is right next to the elevators which actually reduced the amount of walking. We never heard the elevators or anyone walking past even though all the units were rented when we were there. I don't have any complaints about this unit or our stay at Edgewater. We had a great vacation.

My favorite place to stay in Destin! Great view, great location (convenient to mall, restaurants, and Baytown Village), 3 beautiful pools plus a jacuzzi and right on the beach! Great family atmosphere. Unit 1200 has one of the best views of Edgewater's private beach and the beautiful Emerald Coast. This unit has great, comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities and is very clean. Love the convenient work out facility and outdoor grills downstairs. Highly recommended and a great value!

We just got back from one of the best vacations ever. I highly recommend this condo and this location. The view was amazing. We were on the 12th floor and this condo has a wonderful view of the beach. We woke up each morning and had a relaxing family breakfast on the spacious balcony. This condo was recently remodeled and the furniture is new and beachy. The kitchen was beautifully renovated with granite and new appliances. This is my favorite place to stay in Destin because it has a large private beach. There is much to do including the mall across the street and it is close to Baytown as well as being close to great local restaurants. The kids had fun on the new playground equipment and they really enjoyed the sand castle building contest. This condo was a great deal.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Loved the location! So close to the beach that if you leave the door open sand will blow in the condo. Great place to take your family. Very comfortable beds. Loved the pool side snack shop and grill. Would highly recommend for any who loves to relax at the beach.
