Emerald Sol

We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Sol. The unit was great and provided everything that we needed to enjoy our vacation. The best thing about this location is the proximity to the public beach, which wasn't crowded at all. They have beach chairs, a beach cart, boogie boards and other beach toys for you to enjoy. We definitely would stay here again!

Location was great! Pool was nice temp and clean. The beach wagon and toys were appreciated and used by us! The house was nice and I love the covered porch. The house managers communicated with text and right away with info about door code etc. very convenient. Having golf cart is a must and made super easy and a great spot and extension cord already run and present was great.

The cottage was very nice inside, but could use some paint and repairs on the exterior trim and deck. We had a minor problem with the TV and toaster, which were both addressed by the management company in a timely manor. The cottage was very clean and kitchen well equipped. The pool is very nice, but we did not use it due the colder than normal February weather. You can pay additional money to have the pool heated, but we chose not to do that. The location was wonderful-close to the beach, stores, and restaurants.

We recently stayed in the Emerald Sol house. There were eight people that stayed and we managed only having 1 bathroom the entire week...we were a little scared about this! I would definitely like to try and rent the 2 houses together next time to be able and have pool access whenever instead of sharing the time with another family. I just feel like this would be more personal. But, overall, everything went well. The house is so close to the beach which is excellent! We rented a golf cart and were basically able to use it the whole week instead of driving car because everything we needed was pretty close. It was a relaxing and stress free week which was exactly what we were looking forward to having.

We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Sol, and found it to be a nice house for the 4 of us. We were bummed that the beach access down Alamo street was under construction which made for a longer haul to the beach with two little ones. The shared pool was nice to have, but I am not sure I would rent a house again that provides a shared pool over a pool designated just for our house. Overall, I would recommend Emerald Sol!

Well, this was our 2nd stay here and I still love it. Close enough to the beach, but away from the noise. Very homey with just enough stuff, for a comfortable stay. We heated the pool, thank goodness, it was a perfect.

We enjoyed this house and the location. We picked it because it was dog friendly for our Poodle. Everything was great. The only recommendations to make this experience perfect was a few more pots and pans and the access to the beach was closed because of construction so we were told by a neighbor to use the one 3 houses down....short walk, but it had a code access gate and we were not given a code by the property manager, someone walking through gave us the all worked out, but that needs to be streamlined a little easier.

Emerald Sol was the PERFECT place for our family. We rented this property and other family members rented the 2nd property. Home was just as described, less than 5 min walk from the beach, private pool, grills for BBQ, a share shed with all the pool toys you'll ever need, and off street parking on a dead end street made for little traffic. Paradise!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the Emerald Sold property. Had everything we needed. Clean and great location. Nice pool. We like to cook and make most of our meals. Kitchen had everything we needed.
My only complaint, dogs are NOT allowed on the beach unless you own property. We take our dog everywhere and he loves the beach. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering it was quiet due to off season and COVID. I understand this has nothing to do with the rental but still important to know.

Family trip with kids. The pool was nice to hang out in the afternoon when the beach became crowded. We loved all the extras play items in the storage shed. Much of it was left over from families. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, kites, frisbees, buckets, shovels, crab nets, pool floats. Also, the credit for rentals at Livewell 30-A was awesome. We had 4 bikes delivered for the entire week along with a wagon and a much stronger boogie board. Oh, don’t forget to use your Explorie pass for a free daily activity. Best rental experience we have had in Destin so far.

We had to change our dates for this getaway 3 times because of Covid! The office staff was MORE than helpful and accomodating. they answered all our concerns and questions. The house was perfect! The pool was an oasis, after the beach. It couldn't have been better. Much needed and will highly recommend.

I never know what to write I will say what I would have liked to read before our stay. We loved this house. It was in a great location and very close to the beach. We had a wonderful time! The pool is one of the best pools we've been in! A few things to consider when choosing this house:
- while the beach access is very close, it has a lot of stairs (38 to be exact)
- the sheets and pillows on the beds weren't our favorite. we ended up buying some others bc we couldn't sleep the first night.
- the furniture is a little sparse (like no end tables or just one bedside table)
- no lamps in the living room so only overhead lighting
- a rug in the living room would have been a great added piece but def not a concern
- there are two beach chairs for porch furniture so we used some beach chairs, no tables on the porch

There is great internet! TWO built in grills! And did I mention how amazing the pool is?!
We will definitely be staying here again! We will just bring our sheets and pillows and hope for some new porch furniture!

Beach is within walking distance. Located in a quiet area And in a dead end street. Felt safe in the area along with Being able to run each day and feeling very safe. Located within walking distance to several places like Alvin’s , Winn-Dixie , Bad *** Coffee, Whales tales Restrauant to name a few. Also outlet mall is 5 min away. We had a great vacation. Definitely would stay here again

Our experience at Emeral Sol was exceptional. The house is adorable and newly renovated. I'm not sure it would've been so pleasant had we had more people, since there's only one bathroom, but for two people or for a small family, it is the perfect spot. We have NO complaints. The condo was beautiful, everything worked how it should (except for the bathtub, but that may have been intentional), and the short walk to the beach was no problem at all--so easy. There was plenty of parking and you just can't beat this location, with restaurants and grocery stores right down the road. We enjoyed bike rides down the bike path and loved every second of our stay. As design enthusiasts, if we had to make a suggestion, painting the black bar stools and the brown kitchen table white (so as to match the coffee table and the rest of the house) would make a huge difference! Regardless, we loved Emeral Sol. Such a perfect vacation and we dream of returning as soon as we can.

This was our first time ever renting out a little place like this to stay and we loved everything about it! The short walk to the beach was definitely a plus! The only thing I wish there was, was a second bathroom but other than that the place, service and location was wonderful! We're be back next year!

Not quite as nice as the condos at Majestic Sun, that we rented, but this was pet friendly and just right for our 2 rat terriers, It was clean comfortable and convenient to the rest of our family. I would rent again.

The house is the perfect size for a family or two to stay in! We absolutely loved the house and how it felt like a home away from home. The starter pack we were provided, dishwasher soap, Palmolive, etc., was a very nice touch to the house. The floors were a little hard to keep clean of sand, but you can expect that of at any house near the beach. The broom came in super handy. We loved this home.

We really enjoyed out stay at Emerald Sol. The condo was just a short walk to the beach and really carried that beachy vibe, well maintained and clean. It was comfortable and cozy and we had plenty of room for 3 adults and 4 kids. Everything you need is a short drive away, i.e. grocery store, fast food, restaurants, entertainment, gas station.... The only thing we wished we had access to was a larger frying pan and the trash was full when we arrived but maintenance came quickly to empty it, however when we returned we couldn't find the trash receptacle anywhere.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in Emerald Sol. The cottage was clean and we loved the simple refreshing decor. The cottage was conveniently located a block from the beach, but away from traffic. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and yogurt shop. It was a great place for an early morning run. The cottage was amply supplied with linens and kitchen necessities. It was a great weekend get-away!

We stayed here in April for our Anniversary and had an absolutely wonderful time! The area is nice and quiet, but just a stroll away from all of the action.
The property has been well taken care of and is in a great safe area. Decorated in a cute, cottage style theme..and also open and airy. Just a few steps from the beach! Thank you Destin Palms Vacation for being so fabulous with Customer Service!!!!
