Majestic Sun 509B

Pool needs revamp. Dated and worn down. You get a million codes to enter the building, gym, and pool that changed monthly.... Very annoying to try and remember codes. Provided minimal towels for a condo that slept up to 6 people. Overall quality was poor for the cost but location was great which is what you’re really paying for.

Condo was nicely updated, clean and had a great view. Bedding was very comfortable. Only real suggestions/opportunities - could not get bedroom TV to work at all, despite using instructions (batteries dead?). Also, the soundbar in the living room did not appear to work. If these were functional, would have been a flawless experience. One recommendation - the hosts generously provide chairs and umbreallas for the beach. If they included one of those collapsable wagons and perhaps a cooler, it would be the full package. We have already booked our return visit!

Very pleased with unit. Very clean and loved the decor and location. Nice linens and furniture. It would be nice to provide at least first day coffee, maybe salt & pepper and kleenex. All VRBO's we've stayed provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Beach towells would be big bonus too but chairs & umbrella very nice. Loved the condo!

We stayed for a week in June and had a great time. The condo is in a good location on the 5th floor overlooking the gulf. It was just high enough to keep the road noise from being an issue but close enough to the beach that you could see everything going on. The condo unit had everything you could need and we were happy there were beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet.

Glass Casa had excellent communication with us throughout the process. We didn't have any issues but did have a few questions before arrival and they responded quickly to our text messages.

Can’t beat this location! Beach is right across the street, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops that are walkable. Nicely remodeled condo, and there are beach chairs, umbrellas, and tubes provided. In-unit laundry is a perk!
Furniture needs an upgrade. King bed is weird and makes noises with every slight movement. Living room chair is broken. Linens are discolored and yellowing. This is a very busy building and walls are thin. It can get quite loud. Elevators, if working, can get very busy.
Overall, we had a great stay, and this is a great value for the cost!

Pros: -location; beach is an easy walk across the street. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Amazing views from the unit. -condo has had some nice updates -parking is easy and free -communication with management was easy and fast. Unit was even ready several hours early. -laundry in the unit. No issues with the dryer as some other reviews mentioned -beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. were amazing to have provided. We added a skim board to the collection Cons: -this is a very busy building. Walls are thin and it gets very loud early in the morning and late at night. Elevators can get extremely busy, and at least one of them was always out of order. -furniture could use an update. The living room swivel chair is broken, the king bed is very loud with any movement, and the couch could use a replacement. -I’m a fan of white linens, but they were all yellowing and not really white anymore. -patio door doesn’t lock—not a huge issue being on the 5th floor Overall, great place to stay for the price!

We absolutely loved our stay and will plan on returning. Communication with Property Management was beyond. They literally respond in like 30 secs. The place worked for us as a family of 4. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. The view, the location, it was all perfect. The only suggestion I have is to install a full length mirror somewhere and to add a high door lock so kids can’t go in and out as they please. 🙄 Otherwise, we loved it!!

The rental was very clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for a family of 6 with 4 small kids. The views were just breathtaking! We had a slight problem with the sliding door but maintenance was quick to respond and had it fixed in no time! We would absolutely recommend staying here.

The condo was great along with the location. My son broke his ankle within 3 hours of being there(and it rained 3/5 days) so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach/area as much as we hoped. The beach was beautiful to look at it. The store downstairs was nice along with restaurants being close by.

This was the perfect getaway for our small family “Covid Christmas” this year. I already miss my morning coffee with the ocean view. Our condo was clean, stocked with what we needed, and easy to access. We were walking distance to anything we needed. The kids enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool and easy walk to the beach. We were able to stay socially distant and enjoy the beautiful Florida sun and salt water air.

This was our first family vacation close to the beach! It was definitely worth the extra money. The property was beautiful!! The condo looked exactly like the pictures. Loved that it already had the chairs and umbrella! We didn’t cook a lot, but there was plenty of cook ware, and towels. Dryer takes a little while to dry, but keep the loads small and it gets the job done. The only complaint that I actually I had, was the bedding on the pull out couch could use being replaced, or even a mattress cover. ( You could feel the springs on it)! I was worried about the air, not being able to turn it down to low. But that was never a issue for us. We bring small bedside fans for the noise and thought it was cool enough. But over all it was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately with the AC in a high rise condo if the air is set below 72 and there is constant movement in and out of the condo or if a door is left open the unit will freeze up. The condo was very clean and has everything we hoped for. No Keurig but has coffee pot. Has several beach chairs and a large umbrella with some boogie boards and I think there may have been a cooler too. The pools were clean and kept well. We had what we thought were multiple issues with the air but it turns out that if you patio door is open or not closed tight enough it kicks the air off. Poor maintenance people :( we didn’t know and had times where the door was cracked slightly. The door is very heavy but I imagine they all are. The area is descent. It’s busy but close to destin and a short drive to 30A area. We also locked ourselves out of a bathroom. Maintenance is super quick and helpful. The beach is across the street with the best view from the balcony.

They are programmed to shut off when doors are left open so it doesn't overwork and freeze up causing permanent damage to the unit. My family and I enjoyed this beautiful beachside condo! It was very well kept! Clean and everything was in working order. They had even made some updates since the listing pictures. We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves. The only downside is that you do h e to cross the street to get to the beach. We would love to stay there again!

The layout was nice and the bunk beds in the hallway was perfect. Never felt like we didn't have enough space. The only problem was the stove top did not work very well, which caused making breakfast a bit challenging. I did also have to wash a couple of pots that had been put away dirty. It would also be nice to have the cookware updated.
