Majestic Sun A911

This is a beautifully located place to be when the snow is flying in Michigan. A911 meets all our needs for an extended stay. The Destin area has great eating places, fun places to spend your money, and lots of places to shop. We will spend the next ten months looking forward to January 2027.

Extremely pleased with our stay. Condo has two bedrooms that comfortably fit us and our three kids (ages 6 and under-one slept in a packnplay that fit perfectly between the two twin beds). Large balcony with beautiful ocean views. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Just be aware there are several steps to get down to the beach (not the easiest to manage with a wagon loaded with beach supplies-but there’s also ramp access a little further down). Condo had two boogie boards and two nice beach chairs, saved us from buying or packing our own. On site ice cream shop on bottom level was awesome and our kids absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor pool. My only complaints are small and mostly cosmetic-paint pretty worn/scuffed throughout the unit, broken knob on master bed frame that my kids kept knocking off, and the door from the living room to the balcony took some muscle to open and close. Overall a great place with great views and amenities. Will definitely check for availability here first the next time we are in the area!

The bed in the master was absolutely fantastic, we slept amazing each night. ( I should have checked the brand and model) the pillows were also great. A few things that could have made the stay better would have been better cooking utensils and having the main sliding glass door that went to the balcony fixed ax it was extremely hard to open. The door to the balcony from the master was good. Beach access was very simple. We would stay at this property again.property again

Previous renters tore up the sleeper so we had to deal with an air mattress took up all the space , the front door needed to be checked that it locked, however we did not complain to maintenance, master bedroom we bumped the dresser a lot room not porportioned for king bed, however bed was comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to the Destin/Miramar Beach area. We were very impressed with the location and the views from our unit’s balcony. The beach access was great and it was also very easy to get cleaned up after spending any time in the sand. I was somewhat disappointed with the actual unit. The carpets in the bedrooms were filthy; so much so, that I really didn’t want to walk on them barefoot. It could also do with a fresh coat of paint, as the walls were fairly scuffed in places. The unit also says that it comes with beach chairs and umbrella; while this is true, they have seen much better days. After trudging down with them the first day and discovering some were broken, etc., we just rented from the company on the beach. I do have to say, everyone we came in contact with was very helpful and polite, check-in and check-out was easy and the condo is just minutes from many great restaurants. I was overall, pretty happy with where we were, watching the sunrise every morning from our balcony was quite a gift.

While drinking coffee in the morning on the balcony, we were able to see dolphins and other sea life swim and come close to the beach for food. Watching storms come in was a real treat, and the view from the balcony was perfect for taking pictures. A lot of pictures all day long! The condo was clean and nicely decorated. It had a very warm and welcoming tone for our family of 3. The beach chairs and umbrella were so great to have!!

This condo was more than we could have hoped for! It was elegant and clean and cozy! The location is wonderful, within (beach) walking distance to a cute sandy bar/grill called the Whale's Tail. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cookware, the beach chairs provided were fantastic! We woke up and had breakfast on the balcony while the morning crowd got the chairs and tents set up! The water and beaches there are simply gorgeous. The walk to the beach was so short and just a matter of crossing from the pool at our building across the street to the stairs down to the beach! I loved it. My four year old even learned to swim in the indoor/outdoor pool. So amazing. I have already recommended this condo to several friends and we only just got home Friday. We will definitely use the condo again in the future - thank you for sharing your space with us!

The property description was spot on in regards to the layout of the facility. Although the unit is housed in multi-unit facility, it was private because we didn't hear any other guests as they came and went. It also had a community feel, which is very nice as well. We watched dolphins play in the surf in the morning from our balcony. The beach area was very clean, and the chairs and umbrella provided in the unit were very easy to transport to the beach. The unit was clean and spacious. When we return, this unit will certainly be our first choice for accommodations.
