Majestic Sun A914

We stayed at Majestic Sun, unit A914 from May 26-June 2. This was probably our 10th year and we keep coming back although to different units each time. In our opinion Majestic Sun cannot be beat. The location is perfect. The beach is beautiful and the amenities are just what we are looking for. Some of us use the gym each day and it is perfectly suitable for a vacation workout. The pool is awesomely refreshing after a great day at the beach. There are plenty of places to eat and drink that are walkable as well as many great places that are just a short drive. We love Whale's Tail, Buffalo Jack's, Pepitos and Bad *** Coffee. My daughters get coffee from Bad *** almost daily and highly recommend mobile ordering to cut down on the wait time. The snow cones in the little hut on the beach are the best and at only $5 are a steal.
We do not use the chair/umbrella rental as there are always chairs and umbrellas in the unit to use. This year we had five chairs and two umbrellas. As there were seven of us we did go purchase two more chairs at Walmart and left them behind.
For groceries we always do a big shop at Walmart the day we arrive and then supplement by running to WinnDixie just down the road a bit. We have used Walmart delivery once but found it to be more of a hassle than it was worth.
As far as our unit, we would stay in it again. It had plenty of space for seven of us. Water pressure was better than in years past and there was a box fan in the unit which was nice.I would recommmend an upgrade on the pots and pans and serving utensils. We made do but it could have been better. I also thought the plumbing fixtures could be updated and maybe a deep, deep clean wouldn't hurt. Additionally the oven took forever to preheat. Finally, there were some strange noises that seemed to be plumbing related but it was no big deal. That being said, I would still consider this a great unit and a great value and would not hesitate to book again.

The majestic suns is a very nice place to stay, the views are amazing of the beach. The managers of the majestic sums are very nice people to talk to communicate with. The guard comes around, checking for wristbands, which he should to keep people out that don’t belong there all in all a very nice place to stay.

Our stay at Majestic Sun was fantastic. This unit was in great condition, and it had one of the better stocked kitchens that I've seen. The size is perfect for a family trip. We stayed in another Majestic Sun 3-bedroom unit last year, but didn't return because it felt rundown (furniture was worn out, etc). This one felt very well cared for and suited our every need. I will be rebooking!

I give this 4.5 stars. Our only complaints were: 1) the floors need a deep clean. Our feet/socks turned black from walking barefoot. 2) it needs a broom to get up all the sand that gets tracked in. There's a vacuum, but it's a heavy corded vacuum that isn't convenient. 3) The sliding glass door from the living room is balcony is VERY difficult to open. The door from the master bedroom to balcony opened without issue, so something clearly needs to be fixed with the living room sliding door.

In all, the complaints were minor. This place is awesome.

You never know what you get with online rentals, but this unit exceeded already high expectations - comfortable, easy access, everything we needed. The accommodation was only exceeded by the service. From the time of rental, during the stay, to after check-out folks at Glass Casa were responsive, easy to reach, very accommodating and seemed invested in making sure the stay was great. A small issue with a sink that drained slow was addressed successfully within 10 minutes of my call. Several shirts were left in a drawer, but with one call, no muss no fuss, wheels were put in motion to have them shipped back to me. Highly recommended.

We’ve been coming to Destin for 6 or 6 years and this was by far one of the best. We loved this condo. It was so clean and inviting when we walked in. It was stocked so nicely. The balcony view was stunning. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the master bath.

Great place, pools & hot tub were clean & very nice. Grandkids had a great time. TV in the living room does have a black streak through the middle of the screen. Could still see pictures just annoying. Shops were very convenient. Beach area across street convenient and clean. Very quiet being an end unit.

This home was great for a family trip. I specifically chose it for the heated pool, which was great for the kids since we were not traveling during beach weather. Common areas are big so it doesn't feel cramped and the view is beautiful. Covenient to everything we were doing in the Destin area but felt peaceful at night. I recommend stopping at Publix on your way in to stock up on groceries, to just enjoy the home and beach once you arrive.

We loved the condo, very clean and nice furniture. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The umbrella & chairs that were in the condo for us to use needs to be replaced, rusted. My daughter ruined one of her cover up from the rust on the chair. But other than that the stay was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay! The only negative things we can say are the beds are too soft (but some may like that), the dining chairs a wobbly (which is fine, we just don’t want anyone to get hurt in the future, the couches are older and not very comfortable but we weren’t in the condo much. Also, the front door was hard to open and close. We did notice that the actual door frame was coming apart from the wall (might need to make maintenance aware). The condo is VERY clean, the kitchen was well equipped and stocked with everything we needed. The laundry room was great to have and worked well. All appliances worked well and were used daily. The view is amazing and the amenities were perfect for our vacation. This location is perfect for the beach, restaurants and shopping. We would rent this condo again.

Very clean, furniture was nice, all 3 the bedrooms had comfortable beds, kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, the condo had plenty of space it was very open. The 2 beach chairs need to be replaced, they are rusted, so I suggest take your own or rent the chairs & umbrella from the beach rental. We loved the place, will definitely be coming back.

Loved our week at Majestic Sun. This was our 4th time to Destin and 2nd time at Majestic Sun. The condo is nice. We enjoyed having enough space for 6 of us…3 bedrooms and 3 baths were perfect. Kitchen had all the necessities. Enjoyed being on a corner space. Enjoyed the pool since it was double red flags a couple of days. Workout area was a nice feature. Beach access was easy to get to and not too large of a space to get through to access the beach front. It is right next to public access so it did get busy at times but not so bad it ruined the days. We enjoyed walking down to shop at some of the stores nearby which was nice not having to drive. Plenty of parking in the garage. Easy access to both main strip and back road along beach front. Our family of 10 stayed comfortably in this unit. We had 3 babies under the age of 3, so we needed plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as far as utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment. We made very good use of the washer and dryer, especially with all the babies’ clothes and bedding. The location is super convenient to the beach and restaurants. The pool is very nice, and even on the busiest days, we didn’t feel too crowded. In addition, the pool was always manned by a security person. As for the unit, it is older, but it has been kept up for the most part. The bathrooms need some attention, especially the one in the master bedroom. I found mold along the ceiling of the shower and neither sink had a working stopper—I was careful not to drop anything down te drain! Overall, I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The check in process was the best I have ever experienced. There was plenty of dishes and lots of extra utensils and such for cooking. Honestly the only issues we had at all was of the toilets don’t flush well. We had to plunge them several times especially the master bath and the main sliding glass door is VERY hard to open and close.

Communication with the company from the get go was excellent. If I had a question or concern they answered me with 24 hours. The directions and check-in was easy. The room itself is located in a good spot with easy access and views of the beach. It was clean, roomy, tv had great channel's. If we didn't bring our own kitchen supplies they did give good starter stuff like dish soap, dishwasher pods, clothes washer pods, toilet paper and paper towels. The linen was clean, the apartment was clean. Even behind the resort had beautiful scenery, like the pond and bridge over the pond. I will definitely be teaching out to stay with the company again at Seascape. It was all my family and I hoped it would be.

Would we stay in this unit again....YES!
Glass Casa provided very straight forward directions on how to access the unit along with access to a guide for the property. They are very organized and extremely helpful when contacted.
The unit itself is dated but is really nice. The view is impeccable!
Living room - furniture could use some updating for long term stays.
Master Bedroom - Extremely comfortable. Linens very clean.
Queen guest bedroom - Comfortable. Linens very clean.
2 bed guest bedroom - Beds were soft but useable. Lines very clean.
Kitchen - Very well supplied with appliances and utensils. The stove needs some maintenance but it worked. An ice maker would have been nice.
Bathrooms - Very clean and an abundance of clean towels.
The area we were in was very walkable and safe and we took advantage of it every day.
Our overall impression being this was our first snowbirding experience was very positive!

The condo felt like home. It had everything we needed and more. The views were gorgeous. It was close to shopping and places to eat. We rented 2 golf carts which the kids loved. The pool was clean as well as all the surroundings. Nice upscale property!

We had an awesome time in Majestic Sun 914A! Weather wasn’t all that great the entire week, only had 2 good sunny days so we spent a lot of time inside. The condo was very clean, spacious (all 6 of us could sit and watch a movie comfortably in the living room) and accommodating with all the amenities needed for your home away from home! The view from the balcony was spectacular and the pool and hot tub felt great after a long day at the beach! The 2 lounge chairs and large umbrella were also a very helpful addition for our party of 6. The host was also very helpful and responsive! Definitely recommend this property and we will be back!

It is located in the heart of Miramar Beach, is close to great outlet mall shopping and many good golf courses. All you see is the Gulf from the front windows and balcony.
