34th Annual Sandestin Wine Festival | Grand Tasting

One of the most famous local wine festivals in Destin, FL is the Sandestin Wine Festival!

The main events, know as their Grand Wine Tastings, showcase more than 500+ domestic and international wines over a two-day span. Guests can enjoy the opportunity to talk to vineyard owners and winemakers about their favorite appellations, or maybe try something new. During the Grand Wine Tastings, guests are also treated to a gourmet experience courtesy of some of the best chefs on the Emerald Coast. Savor South Walton tents are sprinkled within the festival to allow guests to pair delectable bite-sized appetizers with their current glass selection. And, a festival favorite, their Champagne tent, returns to the Grand Sandestin Lawn, featuring bubbles and desserts galore. Local and regional music also set the vibe for fun days of discovery.

The Sandestin Wine Festival is the most established and continuously running wine festival on the Emerald Coast and has affectionately been called the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals” because of its popularity and grandeur.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is always open to the public. Even during special events, guests are welcome to visit the shops and merchants. Non-drinking festival guests are welcome to attend the Grand Wine Tasting with their friends at no charge–they will not receive a wristband or tasting glass for wine or food. You must be at least 21 years of age to taste wines.

2020 South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival

Wine, charity, and fun converge at the 2020 South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival. Featuring more than 600 wines to taste over four days, this annual charity event delivers a wine experience unparalleled among Northwest Florida wine festivals. This event will go from April 23rd-April 26th. This local wine festival in Destin, FL is one you don’t want to miss!

On Thursday, April 23rd from 5-7 pm it will be the Winemakers and Shakers. Join them as they host honored winemakers and shakers from some of the top wineries in the world and taste great wines.

On Friday, April 24th from 4-6 pm it will be the Culinary Village VIP Wine Tasting Kick-Off. For the ultimate wine experience, the VIP Wine Tasting features festival celebrities pouring their rare and collectible wines and spirits. On Friday, April 24th from 6-9 pm is the Town Center and Grand Park Craft Beer & Spirits Jam. On Saturday, April 25th from  1-4 pm it will be the Town Center and Culinary Village. It’s all about the wine and their wines just got even better! On Sunday, April 26th from 1-4 pm is the 2nd day of the Town Center and Culinary Village Grand Tasting. Sometimes something is so much fun you want to do it all over again. Welcome back to day two of the Grand Tastings where their wines are higher quality than ever before. For those of you just joining them, relax and enjoy ambling around Grand Boulevard’s large Town Center as you taste as many of the more than 600 bottles of wine as you like. Stroll over to the Savor South Walton Culinary Village and taste delicious food, selected to go with all varietals of wines. Check out the songwriters who came in from Nashville to play just for you.
